Chest press with hip rotation using the Rip Trainer

A videó leírása: Janddfitness.com The Rip Trainer, created by TRX, is a new piece of equipment that allows the user to asymmetrically load their body. Because of this I'm able to perform a chest press with hip rotation using the Rip Trainer. As you'll notice I have the bar anchored by one side. By resisting the rotational pull my core becomes engaged. In this drill I rotate the hip, loading one side then extend the knee, hip, and then the arm. In the finished position you'll get a chest contraction. The arm furthest away from the resistance chord acts more as your axis of rotation. This movement mimics many sport's related activities (throwing a punch, taking a shot in hockey, lacrosse). What I like about this particular exercise is how we can take a traditional chest press, get you on your feet, engage the core, stimulate more muscles, and hence elevate caloric output. Try the chest press with hip rotation using the Rip Trainer in your next workout and let me know what you think.
